Eagles Running Back Brian Westbrook Having Ankle Surgery

The health of Philadelphia Eagles star running back Brian Westbrook is in doubt due to an apparent ankle injury.
Westbrook, the cog that keeps the Eagles’ offense rolling, is questionable for any of the club pre-season games and camps, due to the nagging injury.
Tomorrow, he will have minor surgery on the injured ankle, to be performed by Dr. Mark Meyerson.
Last year, Westbrook missed one game with what was then reported to be a high ankle sprain.
In this year’s draft, the Eagles chose running back LeSean McCoy just in case things do not work out for Westbrook.
