Farrah Fawcett in stable condition

Boston (HealthKnowItAll) - Actress Farrah Fawcett is said to be in stable condition despite no longer receiving treatment for anal cancer.
She stopped responding to the medication a while ago and has since been released from hospital to her home, where she is currently residing.
Fawcett, 62, was diagnosed with anal cancer 3 years ago, and since then has waged a heroic fight with the disease.
She was the centerpiece of a documentary, “Farrah’s Story” in which she chronicled her ongoing battle with the disease.
She has subsequently lost the strength to eat, and was up until a few days ago being nurrished solely from an IV in her arm.
Her condition is said to be improving, with her eating a steak from her favorite restaurant last week, and having the strength to sit up in bed.
