Boston (HealthKnowItAll) - It is being reported that 4 cases of swine flu have been diagnosed in the state of Delaware.
Swine flu has swept the world by storm, prompting the World Health Organization to promote a warning 5, one number below that of a pandemic warning.
All the cases in the state are diagnosed in students, and their condition is currently not known.
“We have four confirmed cases from the University of Delaware,” said a spokeswoman for the Delaware Division of Public Health.
So far health authorities have confirmed cases of swine flu in as many as 11 US states.
Cases of the virus have also been reported in Canada and the UK.
In Mexico where the virus originated, as many as 150 people have died from swine flu.
