Taking Antioxidents May Interfeer With Chemotherapy

Results of a new study find that taking antioxidents while being treated for cancer can actually interfeer with the treatment you are receiving.
Chemotherapy is the leading cause of cancer treatment, and is often prescribed to cancer patients when they are diagnosed with a form of the disease.
People often try to turn their lives around when they are faced with cancer, eating healthy and even picking up some form of exercise.
Antioxidents are marketed because they are healthy for you, but cancer docs say that there is a chance that they can interfeer with chemotherapy treatments.
In a study of breast cancer patients, 61% of them said they were taking some form of antioxident in the form of a supplement while receiving cancer therapy.
There is no 100% answer as to if antioxidents actually do reduce the effects of chemo but doctors are advising cancer patients to lay off them for now.
