Omaha Salmonella Outbreak Traced Back to Sprouts

Omaha (HealthKnowItAll) - Health officials in Omaha say that they have located the source of a salmonella outbreak.
According to Nebraska Health and Human Services they have traced the salmonella outbreak to a local grower of source-alfalfa sprouts.
To locate the source of the outbreak, officials conducted hundreds of interviews, and compiled data pertaining to what people reported eating.
A large percentage of infected residents, reported eating the CW sprouts and after furthered lab testing the sprouts were found to be contaminated.
The company is voluntarily recalling their sprouts from grocery stores and restaurants to insure that no further cases of salmonella poisoning are reported.
So far as many as 14 cases of salmonella poisoning have been linked to the sprouts in question.
