(Update 3) FDA Recalls Hydroxycut Linked to Liver Damage and Death

Boston (HealthKnowItAll) - Late last week the FDA issued a recall for as many as 14 Hydroxycut products over concerns dealing with liver damage.
Hydroxycut is a fat burner supplement sold in U.S. nutrition stores and is very popular because it works.
It is taken by people looking to lose weight, and is very popular on the bodybuilding circuit as a supplement for reducing body fat percentage.
It is marketed as containing all natural ingredients, but as of late it has been the cause of concern due to serious side effects.
The FDA has received a total of 23 reports of liver damage in people taking the dietary supplement.
They have also received 1 report of death, in a 19 year old male who died after experiencing sudden liver failure.
