Since swine flu emerged as a world crisis, drug makers from around the world have been rushing to develop a vaccine for it.
Well their vaccines are nearing completion which is good news for us as the threat of swine flu may soon be over.
The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention have secured 2 leading candidates which they say may lead to the development of a swine flu vaccine.
Drug makers such as Glaxo and Roche have been approached to create mass quantities of the vaccine, in case of a world pandemic.
Since the virus first was reported, it has infected more than 13,000 people in more than 41 countries from around the world.
86 deaths have been linked to the virus, the majority of which from the country of Mexico.
Until a vaccine is available for use, governments are taking whatever action is necessary to control the outbreak.
In Mexico, a 5 day manditory closure of all non-essential services was undertaken a few weeks ago and people were asked to remain at home to avoid risk of the virus.
