If somebody around you suddenly started to exhibit signs of a heart attack would you know what to do, or would you just stand by and watch?

The American Heart Association wants to make sure that everybody knows the importance of learning CPR and have turned to Facebook and Twitter to get the word out.

Using the latest in technology is a great idea and is probably the best way of announcing CPR/AED Awareness Week as millions of Americans use both popular services.

The AHA has created a web site where people can go to find local places where they can go to become trained in CPR.

They are also asking people to leave Facebook messages, and tweet as to the importance of becoming certified in CPR.

To find a local location where you can go to be trained in correct cpr technique, visit www.cprweek.org.
